NeoGrafik is a project which projects realtime drawing onto urban surfaces. The interface consists of custom drawing software projected on a 6’ x 6’ rear-projection screen. Using custom built pens and spray cans, the user simply draws as though the screen itself was a touchscreen canvas. Their strokes are projected onto the “interactive canvas” in realtime with a largescale secondary output projecting the same strokes in realtime onto the building exterior. More info at www.neografik.ca
The current basis for the interactivity for the screen is a wiimote & ir pen using Johnny Lee's wiimote whiteboard hack. We are wanting to abandon the Johnny Lee hack and use the wiimote itself as the drawing implement. To do so requires using wiiflash server which communicates between the wiimote and a flash app. We currently have an app coded in flash for the drawing portion of the project. We need some coding which will allow this app to receive button and movement events from the wiimote (via wiiflash server). The wiimote movement controls the mouse position with buttons assignable to other controls.
Ideally this would be a file which we could "include" in any further developments of the app - thus making the system very portable if we wish to upgrade just the drawing components.
Requirements Interview Answers:
To help you bid more accurately, the buyer was interviewed about the requirements for this bid request. Below are their answers.

Other Requirements:
The file that you code will then be given to our regular coder who will integrate it into the full drawing application. This means that you are to create a file which:
-communicates with wiiflash server & transfers data from wiimote to flash app
-translates wiimote movement to mouse coordinates
-must have a calibration screen for calibrating wiimote position (and movement) to mouse movements on screen
-have button events which are easily modified by our regular coder who will add the button functionality as needed - so all buttons must have events assigned to them and we will assign the function to the event that is triggered from the button press at a later date
-it must be easy for us to control the granularity or fine-tune the tracking of the wiimote and the mouse (we need to be able to adjust the tracking speed of the wiimote/mouse control)
-the wiimote calibration must be set for the wiimote to be held vertically (a wiimote is normally held horizontally)
